Enterprise Solutions Sales Engineer
Job Description and Requirements

 

Brookstone International, "Enterprise Solutions Group" has been appointed by Myricom, and Asetek, as their official Channel Partner for Mainland China, Hong Kong and the Southeast Asia region.
Asetek manufactures Enterprise Liquid Cooling Solutions for Data Centers, which focus on HPC. Myricom manufactures both hardware and software for HPC that features low latency processing. We are searching for a few outstand individuals to join this elite organization where the focus is on being the best at what we do.

Responsibilities:
• Pre-sales support of prospects from initial contact through evaluation and closure
• Give presentations and product demonstrations
• Support for pilots to be conducted by enterprise prospects
• Post sales support may be necessary from time-to-time
• Some Travel required
Requirements:
• Provide effective presentations, demonstrations and technical support during selling cycle
• Experience as a pre-sales systems engineer or education in computer security, network solutions
• Able to articulate and demonstrate solutions to business problems to customer executives and staff
• Proven ability to conduct successful product pilots in client environment
• Team player, high energy, positive attitude
• Business maturity, decision-making, planning, & project management skills
• Excellent organization and communication skills required
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in heterogeneous environments
• Strong communications (written and verbal) and presentation skills
• Strong technical security knowledge including firewalls and related policy management security products and concepts
• Deep understanding of protocols: SMTP, DNS, FTP, SSH, TCP/IP, LDAP, NIS
• Strong UNIX system administrator skills
• Experience with shell scripting in Perl and other scripting languages
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience or electrical engineering
• Some level of English skills is a must as we communicate with Myricom and Asetek headquarters in the USA.

 

Additional bonus skill sets:
• Data center work experience
• Telco or ISP work experience
• Knowledge of high speed networks, identifying bottlenecks and speed optimization

Salary and Compensation:
• Total Compensation will be made up of salary + Commission + profit sharing
